A Bit About Me

Like many folks, not too long ago, I was looking for a way to earn extra income, but wasn’t sure how I was going to fit a part-time job into my already busy schedule.  The thought of searching want ads, applying, interviewing, finding the time to do any and all of this, just seemed too much.  Then a friend reminded me how easy it is to work for a direct sales company.

As if “it was meant to be”, I was presented an opportunity to become a consultant for a direct sales company and start my own home based business.

With the support of my friends and family, I was immediately earning an income.  My new part-time job, wasn’t an ideal fit for me.  But the extra income made up for the “round hole-square peg” feeling.  I love the product, even though, I am no longer actively working for that company.  But, I was missing one of the key “ingredients” to truly make that endevor “really cook” for me.
They say desparation will cause you to do things you wouldn’t normally do.  My first direct sales adventure fits into that catagory.  I needed extra income which it provided.  And, while it was fun, it wasn’t as fun as it should have or could have been.  It was a stepping stone to my next adventure with direct sales.

A close friend and semi-professional Hostess asked me why I didn’t sell PartyLite.  She knows me well, strengths and weaknesses.  To her it was a “no brainer”.  I was a bit resistent.  Thinking, “I’m already working for one direct sales company.  Why would I want to sell PartyLite, too?”
I discovered PartyLite in 1994 when I was living in Sacramento, California. A co-worker asked me if I wanted to go to a candle party. I enjoy burning candles, so I gladly agreed.

Since then, I’ve been hooked.

After being a loyal customer for more than 14 years, I became a Consultant myself in February 2008 and I am now looking forward to being a Leader of a great and growing team of smart, successful women. My enthusi asm for my little candle business has done nothing but grow. I go to parties. I tell people about the best candles in the world. I have fun, eat their food, drink their wine, and get paid. I work when I want to. I work part time from home only about 3 to 4 ours per week.  I’m looking forward to increase that to 15 to 20 hours per week as a leader. It’s one of the best things that’s happened to me. If you like some of the choices that I have shared, and think that it would make a difference to your lifestyle as well, then please contact me and we can set up a time to have a chat.

I look forward to hearing from you!
